What we ask about your Toyota
Requirements vary by model, year and engine, so a quote that ignores those is a guess. These are the things that actually change the figure.
Whether it is a hybrid
A hybrid changes what gets checked. On many Toyota hybrids the inverter has its own cooling circuit and the traction battery is cooled by an air path with a filter, both of which appear in the schedule. Which of those applies to your car depends on the model and year, so we confirm against your book rather than assume. Tell us and we will price the right job rather than a petrol service with a hybrid badge on it.
The model, year and engine
Toyota sells the same badge with very different mechanical packages. A HiLux that tows for a living, a RAV4 on the school run and a Corolla hybrid are three different services with three different parts lists. The build date on the compliance plate settles it when the model year is unclear.
How it actually gets used
Manufacturer schedules assume ordinary conditions. Short trips, heavy loads, dust and a lot of towing all count as severe use, and the logbook usually has a separate column for it. If that is your driving, say so and we will quote against the right column.
The logbook itself
Bring it, or tell us where it is. We stamp it, record what was done and keep our own copy. The ACCC's guidance is that an independent repairer can service a vehicle without affecting your consumer guarantees, and that manufacturer warranties generally do not require dealer servicing, provided the work meets the manufacturer's standards. Check your own warranty terms.

Toyota is the most common badge through this workshop, which mostly means we have seen the same jobs often enough to quote them without guessing. It does not mean we are a Toyota dealer or that Toyota has authorised us in any way. We are an independent workshop in North Parramatta that works on them.
What we will not do is print a service interval on a web page. Toyota publishes the schedule for your exact model, year and engine in the logbook that came with the car, and it changes between variants and between duty cycles. Read us the details, or bring the book in, and we will tell you what is actually due rather than what is due on average.
Everything we find goes in a written report, whether or not you asked us to look at it. If something is worn but not urgent we will say that, give you a figure, and leave the timing to you.

Will servicing my Toyota here void the new-car warranty?
The ACCC states there is no requirement under Australian Consumer Law for a vehicle to be serviced by a dealer for your consumer guarantees to apply, and that manufacturer warranties generally do not require it either, provided the work is done to the manufacturer's standards. We follow the schedule, use appropriate parts, stamp the logbook and keep the records. Your own warranty booklet is the final word on its terms.
Do you service Toyota hybrids?
Yes. Tell us it is a hybrid when you book, because the job is not the same. Alongside the ordinary service we check the inverter cooling and the battery cooling path. If the car ever needs high-voltage work beyond that, we will tell you plainly rather than attempt it.
What does a service cost for my Toyota?
The published starting prices apply here like anywhere else, and the final figure depends on the model, the engine and how much oil it takes. Send us the rego and the model and we come back with the actual number before you commit to anything.
Can you stamp a logbook for a car still under capped-price servicing?
We can service it and stamp the book. Whether a manufacturer's capped-price program still applies to a car serviced outside the dealer network is a question for Toyota, and it varies by program and model, so ask them rather than taking our word for it.
