What it carries and what it tows
These are working vehicles and most schedules have a separate column for heavy duty: towing, loads, dust, idling. Quoting a working D-MAX on the light-duty column would be cheaper and wrong. Tell us how it earns its living.
The exhaust filter and how it runs
A modern diesel has a particulate filter that clears itself when the exhaust gets hot enough, which needs a decent run. Short trips, heavy idling or constant stop-start make that harder. It is a duty-cycle question, not a fault, and it changes what we check.
Anything fitted to it
Trays, canopies, bars, tanks, dual batteries and suspension work all change weight, access and sometimes an inspection outcome. Tell us what is on the vehicle so the quoted time is the real time.
Kilometres and the logbook
These vehicles cover distance quickly. The book plus the current odometer tells us what is actually due, rather than what would be due on an average car.

Isuzu utes and light trucks mostly arrive here because they are working, and the thing that matters to their owners is how long it will be off the road. We will tell you that honestly before you leave it, including when the answer is that we cannot finish it today.
We are independent. No authorisation, no dealership, no affiliation with Isuzu; just the equipment and the trade accounts to service and repair them.
The schedule is in the vehicle's own book and it changes with duty. We follow it, we write down what we find, and we price it before we do it.

Do you service light trucks as well as utes?
We service light commercial vehicles within the limits of our three bays and hoists. Ring the workshop with the model and the gross vehicle mass and we will tell you straight away whether it fits, rather than have you drive over for nothing.
It only does short trips. Is that a problem?
It is worth talking about. A diesel particulate filter needs a decent run at temperature to clear itself, and a vehicle that only does short local trips gives it fewer chances. We will check the vehicle and tell you what we see rather than sell you a treatment you may not need.
Can you invoice the business monthly?
On an approved trade account, yes, along with reserved early drop-off and planned servicing. Ring the workshop to set one up.
