Who we are
24 years' experience. Vertex started as a mobile mechanic across the Hills and Western Sydney. Same family, same people, same way of working, now with three bays, a hoist for every one of them, and the licences to issue rego inspections on site.

How we work
These came out of ten years of doing this out of a van, where there was nowhere to hide from a customer who felt misled.
- Prices published
- Every price we can fix is on the website, not quoted over the phone once we know what car you drive. The two that matter most for rego, pink slip and blue slip, have been published from day one.
- Quote before we touch it
- Nothing starts until you've seen a figure and said yes. If we find something else mid-job you get a phone call with the item, the cost, and our honest view on whether it needs doing now.
- Photograph what we find
- If we say a bush is split or a rotor is scored, you get to look at it. A photo takes ten seconds and removes the part of this trade people distrust most.
- You speak to the person doing the job
- Not a service adviser relaying a message to a workshop you never see. The person who explains the fault is the person who found it.
The workshop
- Three bays with a hoist in each, so a car on a long job doesn't block a half-hour inspection.
- Three-phase power, the workshop runs full-size equipment, not portable substitutes.
- Licensed inspection station, pink slips and blue slips issued here, and a car that doesn't pass rectified here, where it is work we do.
- Off-street parking for six, in front of the bays, so you're not hunting for a spot on Daking Street.
