What brings a car in
Suspension wears slowly, so most people never notice it going. The car gets floaty over bumps, the steering goes vague, the tyres wear on one edge. It happens over years, and you adjust without realising.

Every joint, bush, tie rod end and shock inspected on the hoist, then road-tested. You get what is worn now and what is close.
Shocks in pairs
Across an axle, a new shock on one side and a worn one on the other handles worse than two matched worn ones, so we quote them as a pair.
It is a braking issue too
A worn shock stops the tyre being pressed to the road. Stopping distances get longer exactly when you need them short.

Questions
Do shocks need replacing in pairs?
Yes, across an axle. A new shock on one side and a worn one on the other makes the car handle unevenly, which is worse than two matched worn ones.
My car failed a pink slip on a ball joint. Can you do it?
Yes. We are a licensed inspection station and suspension is work we do, so we quote the repair, do it once you approve, and re-inspect here.
How long do bushes last?
Rubber bushes typically go at eight to twelve years in Sydney heat, sooner on rough roads. They are cheap parts with a lot of labour around them, which is why we check the lot before quoting.
