Does a timing chain need replacing?
A chain has no set interval like a belt, but a rattle can mean wear in the chain or its tensioner, or something else entirely. We check it and tell you what it needs before quoting.
Will you tell me if it is not worth fixing?
Yes. If the repair costs more than the car is worth, we will say so and you can decide.
